Our Story
Y Communications emerged from a recognition that existing secure messaging solutions, while valuable, have fundamental limitations. Phone number requirements, centralized servers, and classical cryptography vulnerable to future quantum computers leave gaps that sophisticated adversaries can exploit.
We set out to build something different - a messaging system engineered from first principles with the most paranoid threat model imaginable: one where servers are compromised, traffic is captured, and quantum computers eventually arrive.
